Social Responsibility

The overall objective of Rome Èlite Services has always been to provide services that meet the needs and expectations of customers and all stakeholders, while operating with respect for the environment, workers’ rights, the local community, and in healthy and safe workplaces. The organization has, in fact, reconciled the achievement of its operational efficiency with respect for the principles of sustainable development, paying close attention to all the variables that enhance the service offered—not only in terms of technical quality and economic convenience, but also the social impacts of the activities performed, particularly with regard to workers’ rights.

For the reasons described above, Rome Èlite Services has decided to implement an integrated management system in compliance with the international standard SA 8000 for corporate social responsibility, which allows it to place primary focus on all social aspects of work activities and to promote the continuous improvement of workers’ rights and conditions.

A good working environment includes aspects such as human rights, employee development, empowerment, training, and professional growth, as well as worker health and safety, and the absence of discrimination and child labor. These requirements are also extended to suppliers and subcontractors.

The SA8000 Social Report, published in this section of our website, responds to the need for information and transparency expressed by stakeholders regarding the performance derived from the application of the standard. To this end, Rome Èlite Services aims to:

  • Inform various stakeholders about the company’s social responsibility policy.
  • Promote awareness and understanding among all stakeholders of Rome Èlite Services’ real commitments in accordance with the SA8000 standard.
  • Provide company management with a useful tool for the internal review of the Social Responsibility policy and verification of the achievement of company objectives.
  • Highlight the continuous improvement of company management through trends in the indicators adopted.
